Welcome to the new Sheep Incognito Blog!
WELCOME TO THE NEW BLOG!
Let’s begin this little step in Sheep Incognito history with a warm welcome to all of “Ewe” visiting here - whether ewe are “newe” or “olde”, I love sharing my sheep art with all of “Ewes” out there!
Fun little fact after painting sheep for, oh, close to 20 years: they’ve been fitting into the most maaaahvelous locations on Earth (like HongKong. Denmark. Germany. Australia. South Africa. Singapore. USA. England. Ireland. and so forth - as ewe can tell, they love travel almost as much as I do!).
But that’s not where their hearts are entirely. Instead, they like bringing smiles to the faces of the people that have adopted them over the years. They have found themselves hanging out in knitting nooks. And in kitchens. Bars? Yup. (they are party animals!). Offices? Absolutely - those places need some happiness! Children’s NICUs - it’s their favorite place to bring some happiness to people’s faces.
An then, they also reside with special people: friends, family, collectors, influencers, knitters, weavers, sheep farmers, nuns, pastors, church offices, drag queens’ homes, and so many varied places, that it makes my head spin.
Sheep don’t care about the color of wool, the pedigree of breed, nor the location they find themselves in for the most part. As long as they have a flock, some grass too much, and no predators scaring the fool out of them, they are quite happy to just be.
They don’t have trigger fingers, either.
Their arguing voice is just one word: “Bah”. As is their love language:”Bah”.
If only we humans could step up - or down - and learn from their behavior, the world would be quite a more peaceful place to live, right?
Anyway: I’m delighted that you have come to visit the new blog - I’ll be posting news from the studio, events, things that made me smile, and a some sheepishness of humanity that I come across, when it strikes me as funny.
Because we all need smiles!
