Artist Consulting Main Picture Flying Sheep

Your Art Business, Supercharged

No more guessing, spinning your wheels, or watching other artists succeed while yours stalls. Let's figure out what's missing — and fix it.

You make beautiful work.
But making art and selling art are two completely different skills — and nobody teaches artists the second one.

After decades as a working artist, I've sold paintings at festivals across the US, built an online shop, and grown a devoted following of "Flockies" who love my work. I learned — often the hard way — what actually moves art off the wall and into someone's home.

Now I'm putting that experience to work for you. Using a combination of real-world knowledge and AI-assisted research tools, I deliver a personalized Artist Business Audit — a written report that tells you exactly where you stand, what's holding you back, and what to do about it. In plain language. No fluff.

How It Works

No awkward calls, no scheduling headaches — the whole process happens at your own pace.

Step 1
Tell Me About Your Art & Business

Fill out a detailed intake questionnaire covering your art, your current situation, your goals, and who you think your buyer is. The more you share, the more specific and useful your audit will be. Most people take about 20-30 minutes — grab a cup of tea and settle in.

Step 2
I Do the Deep Dive

Once your intake form arrives, I get to work — reviewing your answers, researching your market, analyzing your online presence, and building your personalized report. Every one of the 7 areas gets a score and specific recommendations tailored to your situation. Turnaround is 3-5 business days.

A polished, detailed PDF report delivered straight to your email — something you can read, reread, share with a trusted friend, and refer back to as you start making changes. No fluff, no generic advice. Just a clear path forward, written specifically for you and your art.

Step 3

A Note From Conni

I didn't stumble into the art business — I built my way into it, one slightly wonky sheep at a time.

I started with a graphic design degree and my own design company, which taught me early that creativity and commerce aren't enemies — they just need a proper introduction. When I fell in love with painting, I taught myself from scratch, starting with small watercolors and somehow ending up as one of eBay's top-selling artists in the '90s.
From that experience, I conceived and helped launch an online art auction platform for artists — designed from the ground up for artists to connect directly with collectors around the world— back when selling art online was still the Wild West.

Then came the sheep. What started as one rather poodle-looking woolly experiment grew into Sheep Incognito — a full flock of whimsical characters with their own devoted following of "Flockies" across the US and beyond. I've sold work at festivals, in galleries, online, and everywhere in between — building a flock of collectors and followers around the world.
I've had spectacular wins and equally spectacular faceplants — and I learned something useful from every single one.

The difference between artists who sell and artists who don't isn't talent.
It's strategy, clarity, and knowing where to focus your energy.

That's exactly what I'm here to help you figure out.
