Sheep Incognito at Gallabrae at Furman, the Greenville Scottish Highland Games 2024

Fàilte gu geamaichean Gàidhealach na h-Alba ann an Greenville, Carolina a Deas 2024!

(Welcome to the Scottish Highland Games in Greenville, South Carolina!) 2024!

We are thrilled to get to be baaaack at the Greenville Scottish Highland Games at Furman University this year! Last year we had to back out, due to the baaad weather in the forecast, that for sure would have blown the Sheep Incognito far and wide - and we can all imagine the smell of wet sheep, too…so it was best to sit that one out.

Which makes it even nicer to get to be back this weekend, Saturday May 25th, 2024.

Come see what’s new in the gallery, listen to some baaaagpipes (yes, there IS a painting of that in the Sheep Incognito flock of paintings), eat some smoked haggis (which is really the only kind one should ever have…check out the Scottish Cottage food truck - we try to be at the shows where they will show up, just to make sure good food is afoot…).

On the side, dance a bit to the awesome tribal sounds of Albannach, some celtic rock by Syr, and a plethora of other artists supplying the ambiance there. And, because sheep love themselves some highland things, they will be leading the border collies on a chase around the field in the sheep herding demonstrations. At some point, there are usually some guys jumping out of planes over the field, some heavy athletics of guys tossing telephone pole things, and big ole blocks of hay?

Yep, definitely a day well spent out on the beautiful campus of Furman University.

Hop on over to say hi, howdy, hello, or, just wave from a distance - we do love meeting new people!
